New Canadians welcomed in Calgary
One hundred and two people from 36 different countries were welcomed as new Canadians today, the Calgary Sun newspaper is reporting. Federal citizenship and immigration minister Monte Solberg was at the ceremony to give them a handshake and pass along greetings from Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
