Brazil kicking off tourism roadshow in the UK

The Brazilian tourism board, Embratur, will be launching a roadshow in the United Kingdom that is due to stop in three major cities, reports Ttglive.com.

At the end of this month, Embratur will host the information sessions to lure more UK tourists to the South American country.  The roadshow will offer information sessions for travel agents and tourists about what Brazil has to offer, as well as sessions to familiarise them with the Brazilian tourist office website.

Chris Fuzinatto, Director of the Brazil Tourist Office for the UK and Ireland, said, “Brazil’s tourist offer is constantly expanding so it’s a priority for us to get on the road again and show travel agents what is new.”

The roadshow will be in London on September 30, Manchester on October 01 and Liverpool on the following day.

Tourists wishing to visit Brazil for holiday purposes may be required to obtain a Brazil visa.  UK nationals are part of the visa-waiver program with Brazil, and therefore do not require a tourist visa to holiday in the country; however, nationals from Australia, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Nigeria, Russia and the USA must be aware that they will need a visa to visit Brazil.
