Any online transaction you make on visabureau.com uses secure-server software to best ensure that your personal information is kept safe.  The software encrypts such data as your credit or debit number, name and address.  It works by taking the characters that constitute your information and converting them into bits of code which can then be securely transmitted over the Internet and held on our servers.

Profile
If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your profile and password, and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your profile or password.

When logging in, you are required to enter your username and password each time. Since access to your Profile is protected by your username and password, it is very important that you protect your password by making it known ONLY to you. To ensure you are the only person that knows your personal access information, all access to your login information should not be written down or accessible to other persons, even if you believe it is disguised. Visa Bureau will not be held responsible for any access gained by third parties to your personal Profile, whether the login details were provided by you or were otherwise obtained.

Visa Bureau does not sell any of its service to children, but it sells them to adults, who can purchase with a credit card. Visa Bureau reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at its sole discretion.

Online Assessments
Visa Bureau’s Online Assessments are free questionnaires completed on visabureau.com, which has been specifically designed to provide you with a preliminary assessment of your ability to satisfy the visa criteria for your selected visa type in the country you specify. You should not rely on this result alone as a true indication of your ability to apply for migration to any country. A ‘positive’ result from an Online Assessment does not guarantee visa success.

If you wish to obtain a realistic assessment of your eligibility for migration to Australia, New Zealand, the United States of America, Canada or the UK, you should complete both an Online Assessment and depending on your country of residence, speak with or complete our Online Migration Interview to be assessed by a Migration Consultant. Once you have completed these steps, you can purchase a Service.

The information we require to provide an Online Assessment is sought in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and Visa Bureau’s own Privacy Policy. To view the Visa Bureau Privacy Policy, click here.

Call Recording

To maintain the highest standards of courtesy and service, help with training purposes and ensure that we remain compliant with regulatory requirements, we may monitor or record our phone conversations with you.

Enquiry Forms

Visa Bureau’s Online Enquiry Forms are free questionnaires completed on visabureau.com, which have been designed to gather basic information, including contact details, so that a Visa Bureau Migration Consultant, attorney or partner may contact you. This information is gathered in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and Visa Bureau’s own Privacy Policy. Inquiry forms cannot provide eligibility  assessments. Using a Migration Agent

Australia: Under Australian law, a person who wishes to operate as a migration agent in Australia must be registered with the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA). Overseas agents are registered by choice.

The MARA maintains a strict Code of Conduct that is intended to regulate the conduct of migration agents. The Visa Bureau can confirm that Migration Agents who work for the Visa Bureau are registered in accordance with the code of conduct. A copy of the Code of Conduct can be found in Schedule 2 of the Migration Agents Regulations 1998. To view the Code of Conduct please click here.

A copy of the Information on the Regulation of the Migration Advice Profession can be found on the Visa Bureau website. To view the Information on the Regulation of the Migration Advice Profession please click here.

The client acknowledges that they have had access to and the opportunity to read these documents in full prior to making any payment to Visa Bureau.

New Zealand: Visa Bureau's New Zealand Casework Department Manager is registered with the Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA). The Immigration Advisers Authority is responsible for the regulation of the immigration advice industry.

The IAA's role is to administer the licensing regime, maintain a public register of licensed immigration advisers and help with the education and professional development of immigration advisers.

The IAA is also responsible for handling complaints and anyone can make a complaint about a licensed immigration adviser or a former licensed immigration adviser.  The IAA investigates and takes enforcement action in relation to offences under the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act.  To see the IAA's Code of Conduct, please click here.

UK: We no longer service UK immigration cases and all UK immigration enquiries on our site are referred to our partner company, Platt & Associates (http://www.plattassociates.co.uk/).

All clients are advised that they are entitled to seek independent legal advice before entering into an agreement with Visa Bureau.
