UK HSMP Visa Requirements

While there are no specific requirements for age, education level or other factors, it is impossible to score 75 points without:

• Degree-level educational qualifications; 
• Available funds for settlement; and
• Sufficient English Language Ability

Educational Qualifications

HSMP applicants must have at least a degree-level qualification in order to meet the 75 points required.

Applicants with a Masters of Business Administration (MBA)  from an approved school will automatically receive 75 points towards their applications.  As long as they meat the other requirements, this means that they will automatically qualify.

Available Settlement Funds

As well as meeting the earnings requirement, a HSMP applicants will need to show their last three payslips and demonstrate that they have at least £800 readily available to help them settle in the UK.

English Language Ability

Applicants who do not have a degree taught in English must sit and pass the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and score at least 6 on each of the 4 components. IELTS measures the ability to communicate in English across all four language skills - listening, reading, writing and speaking - for people who intend to study or work where English is the language of communication.
