» Tier 4 Student Visa
In line with recent changes to UK immigration policy, as of 6, April, 2012, new restrictions will be placed on the requirements needed to qualify for a Student Visa as well on the privileges granted to holders.
Under the new restrictions, no international student is allowed to remain in the UK for longer than five years, except those students studying on Masters or PhD programmes as well as those following courses in architecture, medicine and dentistry.
The amount of funds needed to support oneself throughout the duration of study is also set to increase.
The UK is home to some of the world's best universities, colleges and schools. The UK government offers Student Visas to welcome foreign students who want to study in the UK.
The Tier 4 Student Visa replaces the old UK Student Visa.
If you have been offered a full-time place at a UK educational institution, you may be eligible to enter the UK on a Student Visa.
Individuals wishing to study for 6 months or less may qualify for a student visitor visa, however, some nationals will still require entry clearance in this category.
