Travel bloggers help shape and strengthen Australian tourism

People travelling to Australia are helping to change to backpacking industry with their travel blogs. Travellers touring the country on an Australian tourist and visitor visa have begun to cause change in the industry, with the travel industry taking pointers from these seasoned travellers and their online journals.

Increases in the number of people booking their holidays and hostels online has led some providers in Australia to take pointers from the travel blogs. Carmel Beattie, the New South Wales international marketing manager, said that it will improve the industry.

She added that the best providers are ones who take feedback on board and utilise it. "We have to provide really great experiences because if we're not they'll certainly be telling people," Ms Beattie added.

Those wanting to become part of this blogging boom may need to take an Australian ETA visa online application, to check the requirements of those getting the visa.
