Australia’s international attraction BridgeClimb celebrates 2.5 millionth climber

One of Australia’s international tourist attractions, the Sydney BridgeClimb, has celebrated the 2.5 millionth climber to the eights of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

One of Australia’s international tourist attractions, the Sydney BridgeClimb, has celebrated the 2.5 millionth climber to the eights of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The 2.5 millionth climber was Hilary Baker from the UK, who scaled to the summit of the bridge on 12 March.

Since BridgeClimb opened in October 1998 it has been a major attraction, with 58 per cent of climbers international visitors to Sydney. 

All overseas nationals to Australia, unless they have an Australia or New Zealand passport, must have an Australian tourist visa. The most popular of these visas is the ETA Visa, as it is easy to apply for online and once approved allows the holder to enter Australia for up to three months for tourism purposes.

BridgeClimb now have three exciting climbs to the summit of the Bridge: The Bridge Climb, The Discovery Climb and The Express Climb.
