New BBC Wanted Down Under series begins

The popular BBC programme Wanted Down Under is now showing its fourth series, following the lives of British migrants as they trade the British weather for a new start in Australia.

Wanted Down Under is a reality series presented by Nicki Chapman in which British families are given a look at life Down Under and a sample of how their lifestyle could change ahead of possibly emigrating to Australia.

In the Wanted Down Under episode tomorrow, the Guiles from Berkshire test out life in Auckland for a week. Busy pub landlord Simon and wife Claire want to find out if New Zealand will enable them to give their daughters a better life. Simon wants to retrain as a winemaker, but will he achieve the work-life balance his daughter Izzy longs for him to have?

Friday, The Mills family from Eastbourne see what it would be like to trade the British weather for the paradise of sub-tropical Byron Bay. Sally Mills runs a successful psychotherapy business in Sussex and want to see if they could do the same in the outdoor lifestyle and surfer’s paradise of Byron Bay.

More episodes will be screened in the following weeks.

The 20-episode series is being shown on BBC One on weekdays at 10am to 11am, with past episodes also available on BBC iPlayer.
