American Non-immigrant K3 Visa

A K3 Visa is a temporary Non-immigrant Visa which allows a foreign spouse of an American citizen enter America as a temporary resident and adjust to immigrant status while in America.

Previously, the foreign spouses of American citizens and their children who were the beneficiaries of pending or approved visa petitions could only enter America using an Immigrant Visa. The K3 Visa allows the foreign spouse and children to live and work in America while their petition is being processed for permanent resident status.

A person may receive a K4 Visa, if that person is under 21 years of age and is the unmarried child of an alien eligible to be a K3 Visa holder.
