UK Immigration Solicitor/Lawyer

Visa Bureau's London office requires a permanent, UK Immigration Solicitor, for its fast growing visa and immigration services business. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious enthusiastic UK Immigration Solicitor with a desire to build and grow a dynamic team from scratch.

The role

The chosen candidate will be responsible for building our UK immigration, visa and work permit division. Initially, you will work with our in-house communication team to develop the service offering. You will then work with marketing to implement successful client acquisition strategies. Your day to day work will involve dealing with client enquiries, building a corporate client base, handling submissions and appeals, generating management reports and hiring paralegals to assist as the caseload grows.

Your profile

The ideal candidate is client-focused and is looking for a progressive role in a dynamic legal services firm. An entrepreneurial spirit is key to this position as the chosen candidate will be building their own team from the ground up. As such, you must be strong minded and have excellent communication skills. As an Immigration Solicitor, you will be level 2 or 3 or supervisory immigration accredited. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running and work unsupervised. This challenging and mixed role will suit only a highly ambitious individual.

Senior .NET Developer

We are seeking an Senior .NET developer who will play an instrumental role in the development and delivery of our internet strategy. You will have an extremely strong understanding of the design, testing and implementation processes with hands-on knowledge of system(s) and component integration.

The role

You must have a strong working knowledge of internet applications implementation and support with a demonstrated expertise in .NET Framework, be experienced in technical architecture design, capacity estimation, requirements modelling and system installation/configuration/administration.

You must have 5 years of full life cycle development with an emphasis on incremental, iterative development and deployment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to play a significant role in influencing the companies future IT strategic development.

This is a full-time position.

Marketing and Communications

Communications Coordinator

Visa Bureau's London-based office requires a Communications Coordinator. Reporting to the communications manager you will provide support and work to deadline on writing assignments, web development projects and all other aspects of the company’s marketing communications plan.

The role

Your principal duties will include writing assignments and web development; developing and maintaining content for the Visa Bureau web site and its sub-brands; Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA. Content to include information rich web pages as well as downloadable documents for clients. Content production will include researching, organising, writing, proofing and sub-editing all material. Some design layout may be required. The chosen candidate will also develop news stories for use on the Visa Bureau web site and will be involved with all aspects of the Visa Bureau (and affiliate brands) marketing mix; including direct marketing to clients, generating client correspondence in support of both the consulting and case working teams.

Your profile

Computer literacy in MS Office (including Word and Outlook), Dreamweaver, Photoshop and knowledge of the web space are imperative. Full visa and immigration training will be provided. At least one year's experience is a must.
