Croatia could enter US ESTA program in near future

Croatia looks to set to fulfill all US Visa Waiver program conditions next month, paving the way for Croatians to travel to the country using an US ESTA.

US ESTA

Croatians could soon be entering America using the US ESTA system.

In order to be included into the US Visa Waiver program a country must meet a number of conditions, including a lower than three per cent US Visa refusal rate and a high passport and security systems.

Once Croatia enters the program its citizens are able to apply online for a US ESTA to travel, rather than the more lengthy process of applying for a US Travel Visa that requires a US Embassy visit.

Diplomatic sources have not yet provided a possible date for the addition of Croatia to the US Visa Waiver program.

American President Barack Obama has said that he would make the expansion of the US Visa Waiver program one of his priorities during office.
