The UK Border Agency new requirements for student applications under Tier 4 of the points-based system are now in effect.

Tier 4 Student Visa changes are now in effect for applicants.
Changes to the Tier 4 system are part of an ongoing review of the points-based UK immigration system, designed to further strengthen the system and aid legitimate students in entering the country.
The changes mean new requirements and some restrictions for Tier 4 Student Visa applicants, but those applicants who have submitted and paid for their application before 3 March 2010 will be considered against the rules at the time of application.
