The British Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq has launched an Arabic-language version of their website as the country enters the next phase of political development following the 2010 elections.

While Iraq still faces challenges, the new British Embassy website will give readers a clearer understanding of how Britain and Iraq are working together in various areas.
In announcing the new website the Foreign and Commonwealth Office said Iraq still faces many challenges but the past two years have seen real and sustained progress towards full security, building of Iraq’s democratic institutions and the reconstruction and development of Iraq’s economy.
