UK immigration causing Muslim pop’n to rise ten times faster

According to The Times research, the Muslim population in Britain is rising ten times faster than the rest of society.

The Office for National Statistics can confirm these details, saying that in the same period the number of Christians living in Britain fell by more than two million.

UK immigration has been the major cause for the continuing trend, as well as higher birthrates and conversions to the Islam religion.

David Coleman, professor of Demography at Oxford University, said the government would need to increase its efforts at better integrating the Muslim society into the British community.

“The implications are very substantial.  Some of the Muslim population, by no means all of them, are the least socially and economically integrated of any in the United Kingdom… and the one most associated with political dissatisfaction.  You can’t assume that just because the numbers are increasing that all will increase, but it will be one of several reasonable suppositions that might arise.”

The largest age bracket for Muslims in Britain is the under-four-year-olds, while for Christians, over-70s comprise the biggest group.  More than 42.6 million Christians are in Britain.
