The New Zealand High Commission in London is an overseas post of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The aim of the High Commission is to manage New Zealand's political, economic and trade relations with the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The New Zealand High Commission in London does not handle immigration enquiries of the public, as immigration to New Zealand is the responsibility of the New Zealand Immigration Service (NZIS).
New Zealand has both temporary and permanent Visa and Work Permit policies.
Note: the New Zealand High Commission Information Office will not respond to enquiries regarding visas, work permits or residency applications for New Zealand.
