New UK immigration forms

Visa Bureau is not affiliated with the Australian Government but is a website. Australian visas are available from the Australian Government at a lower cost or for free when you apply directly. Our comprehensive visa and immigration information include immigration advice from registered migration agents, a 100% success rate, document checking and expedited visa processing.

The Home Office has launched updated and new immigration forms, which have to be used from the end of October. A total of 11 new UK immigration and other entry forms have been released.

The six revised and five completely new UK visa forms are designed to be easier to complete and use, according to the Home Office. They ask more specific questions that are directly connected to the relevant visa category being applied for. The accompanying guidance notes have also been revamped.

The old application forms will not be accepted by British visa application centres and visa sections overseas from November 9th.

Updated UK immigration forms include: Application Forms VAF1 (the Visitor Form), VAF2 (the Employment Form), VAF3 (the Student Form), VAF4 (the Settlement Form), VAF5 (the EEA Family Permit) and VAF6 (the Direct Airside Transit Form).

VAF7 (the Right of Abode Form), VAF8 (the Overseas Territories Form), VAFDIP1 (the Diplomatic Posting to UK Form), VAFDIP1DEP (the Dependent Application Form for Diplomatic Postings) and VAFDIP2 (the Official/Transit to UK Form) are all new forms.

Anyone interested in getting a better understanding of their current position under UK visa regulations should request a call from a qualified UK Visa Bureau migration consultant to see if they are eligible for migration to the UK, or call direct on Freephone 0800 043 7011. Alternatively, HSMP visa hopefuls should try taking the HSMP online assessment.
