New Zealand working holiday places for young Chinese will open next month.
28 June 2010
The New Zealand Government has announced that the next working holiday quota for young citizens of China will be released on 5 July.

New Zealand working holiday places for young Chinese will open next month.
Every year, 1000 New Zealand working holiday places are available annually for Chinese youth to live and work in the country but places under the quota are released in stages to help manage demand.
Two hundred fifty places will become available from 10.00am New Zealand time, on Monday, 5 July 2010, New Zealand Immigration has announced.
The interest from potential applicants for the New Zealand working holiday is expected to be much greater than the number of places available so the quota may be filled within only a few hours of opening.
The New Zealand Working Holiday Visa Scheme gives young people aged between 18 and 30 the opportunity to travel to New Zealand and undertake employment during their stay. Visa holders are able to take work in order to supplement their travels, and as such any work undertaken must be incidental and to the conditions stipulated on the visa.
The New Zealand Visa Bureau is an independent consulting company specialising in helping people with their New Zealand Visa applications to the New Zealand Embassy.
