Additional selection criteria set for New Zealand Skilled Migrant Visa

Immigration New Zealand has announced that the additional criteria for selecting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from the Skilled Migrant Category Pool have been set until 31 January 2010.

New Zealand Skilled Migrant Visa category selection criteria for the next six months have been announced.

The New Zealand Skilled Migrant Visa criteria will remain the same as in the previous six month period.

These criteria are applied when there are places available in the Skilled Migrant Category Pool after all applicants who score between 100 and 140 points in the emigration point system and have a New Zealand job or job offer.

When this happens, other Expressions of Interest may be selected on the basis of specific criteria which the Minister of Immigration sets every six months.
