The Professional Contractors Group, a trade association representing UK freelancers, has called for serious reform of the use of intra company transfer work permits in response to a review being conducted by the Migration Advisory Committee.
The Professional Contractors Group say intra company transfer work permits are displacing UK contractors, and the group believes it has been making a strong case for reform at numerous meetings with the Migration Advisory Committee.
John Brazier, Professional Contractors Group Managing Director, stated “We have been calling for such a review for some time, and our long history of involvement and action on work permit reform has no doubt contributed to the instigation of this exercise.”
