UK immigration for new jobs

Immigration minister Liam Byrne has highlighted the "clear positive contribution to the economy from migration" by people coming to the UK under the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme or Work Permit system.

Unemployment is currently at the low rate of 5.4 per cent and there are now 47,000 less unemployed people in the UK than there were a year ago, according to the Office for National Statistics. The number of job vacancies, on the other hand, has increased over the past year, as have average earnings, including bonuses.

Anyone interested in getting a better understanding of their current position under UK visa regulations should request a call from a qualified UK Visa Bureau migration consultant to see if they are eligible for migration to the UK, or call direct on Freephone 0800 043 7011. Alternatively, HSMP visa hopefuls should try taking the HSMP online assessment.
