Reality show to again take a Gap Year in New Zealand

- Posted in New Zealand by Visa Bureauon 16 September 2009

The Gap Year series will follow five Bebo users to New Zealand, with the travellers posting short videos every weekday about their adventures so far on their gap year in New Zealand.

The videos will be posted on the gap year homepage, but fans will also be able to follow the travellers' updates via Twitter and Facebook updates.

The Gap Year series has been sponsored by the New Zealand Tourist Board in a deal brokered by New State, a Endemol UK division, and the Endemol's Digital Media arm will produce the series.

It is unknown as yet the names of the travellers that will be featured in the series.

New Zealand currently has a working holiday agreement to the United Kingdom, which means young people wanting a gap year can take up a New Zealand Working Holiday Visa.

The New Zealand Working Holiday Visa enables young people ages between 18 and 30 the opportunity to travel and work in New Zealand for 12 months. This New Zealand visa can also be extended to 23 months for those from the United Kingdom.
