New York looking for teachers through American immigration

Jane Higginbottom went to the country to teach as part of a cultural exchange programme offered by the Visiting International Faculty (VIF). She said: "I never had more than 22 students, which made classroom management and marking easier. I also liked the fact that I could just be a teacher - I was not personally responsible for a curriculum area across the school and I wasn't expected to have all the answers." The VIF programme gives teachers an idea of what working in the US would be like. Teachers looking to go to the US should complete an American visa application to see if they meet the visa eligibility requirements, with the option of speaking to a qualified American migration lawyer if they do.

America needs teachers: anyone interested in American immigration should complete the American Visa Bureau's online American visa application to see if they qualify for an American visa.
