Hull FC teammates have been waiting for Crocker to join their training in the lead-up to the season's start; however, it has been reported that Crocker had his UK visa application rejected, which started conjecture that he would be calling for an early retirement.

Crocker has commented on the Super League website that he would not be considering retirement, but would be trying different routes to get approval to work in the UK.

"I am not negotiating with any NRL clubs at this stage.  I am entirely focused on my visa application for England to play for Hull FC," he said.

Crocker is the second Australian to be denied a UK visa this year; Todd Carney was also rejected in January.
