Chilean students get best deal in NZ than any other country

The study looked at Canada, New Zealand, Australia, the US, and England as options for Chilean graduate students seeking study in an overseas location.  The survey considered costs of visas, enrolment fees, materials and other necessary items or fees, and found that New Zealand was the cheapest option.

The cost of studying a masters or PhD degree in New Zealand came to about a third of the cost needed for the same courses in England or America, because the New Zealand Government has ruled that foreign students should not pay more than New Zealand citizens.

The Government has also developed a study to work policy that allows a student to get a work visa/permit to work in New Zealand after studies have finished.  The New Zealand Study to Work Policy helps overseas students to eventually become permanent residents in the country.
