How can I apply for a visa through the Australian High Commission?

The Australian High Commission that serves the UK is based in London at Australia House, Strand, London WC2B 4LA. While the Australian Embassy provides diplomatic and consular services to Australians in the UK and Ireland, the majority of visa applications do NOT require the individual to visit the Embassy in person.

Migration Branch of the Australian High Commission

The Migration Branch of the Australian High Commission is located in Australia House in London, and it acts as an overseas representative of the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP).

The Migration Branch, however, does not provide any individual counselling or specific advice to potential migrants. For this reason the Australian High Commission advises potential migrants obtain help from a Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA) certified migration agent.
