June 2018 My husband and I have always dreamed of a better life down under. Now we have two young children we felt it was time to take the plunge. I am a nurse practitioner and my husband works in renewable energy and we enlisted the help of Visa Bureau to help with the move and get a skilled 189 visa. At the time of applying lots of changes were happening with Australian immigration, so the help and advice from Visa Bureau was invaluable. Jennifer was my contact at Visa Bureau and helped me with all the forms and different stages of the process. She also put up with a lot of calls and questions from me about things I was worried about! I felt in the end she was like a supportive friend and was sad to say bye! January 2018 We still can't quite believe that we arrived in Western Australia almost five months ago. We chose Visa Bureau as our agent and we really can't recommend them highly enough. My husband and I spent many years dreaming of a "new life down under" and we took a couple of trips to Western Australia to discover what was on offer, before making our final decision. Visa Bureau were with us every step of the way. I know at times, my questions and anxieties about our application would have driven them to despair but in our agent Sue was always on hand to reply by email or phone and we were so happy with the service we received. I am a UK Health Visitor and Paediatric Nurse, my husband works for London Underground in a management role. He currently works as a FIFO employee, spending 12 weeks at work and a month here with us. At present, this works as he is in a well paid job with prospects that will enhance his CV in the long run so we take it as a move forward rather than a setback. Although our family life is not perfect in that respect, when he is home, we have a month together to enjoy real quality time, something we rarely experienced in the UK with our work schedules as they were. I have recently set up in business within my area of expertise helping families with children age birth to five and I'm excited about the future and how things are unfolding. My children are young and enjoying a fantastic life in the Peel Region of Western Australia. They have swimming lessons in the sea, the school is full of cultural and arts pursuits and despite what we were told initially, the schooling system here is second to none. The rose tinted glasses have come off and we are now really "living" here but I must say that I cannot find fault in anything. The laid back lifestyle, the friendliness of the people and the ongoing support of the expat community via social media and the local community is unrivalled. When we first arrived, I was a little taken aback by the friendliness and generosity of the locals. We have had Christmas street parties, neighbours arriving with snacks and conversation at the drop of a hat and we are about to go round to our neighbour down the road who has invited us to an Australia Day party. The feeling of community here is second to none and I would not change it for the world. Thank you Sue and thank you Visa Bureau for helping us to achieve our dream. March 2017 Hi There Last night I had a call from Dirk about my Australia work pack and what can I say! He has given me so much helpful info about what to do when I get to Aus. Normally I wouldn't bother to email but it felt like he wants to go the extra mile to help and I feel it should be noticed by management. January 2017 Having made the decision to migrate to Australia, our family carried out some research on migration agents and decided to go with Visa Bureau. Initial contact was made with Darren who ran through the process and informed us that we were eligible for their services. Jennifer Fergusson was then assigned to our account and the ball was rolling, documents to fill in and various evidence to scan and send. It was all rather overwhelming however, Jennifer made the whole process smooth and comfortable for us, keeping us informed of every step in the process. If it hadn't had been for Jennifer and Visa Bureau handling everything, it would have been very difficult to complete the process. September 2016 If you're travelling to Australia, I would highly recommend using Visa Bureau to sort out your visa, tax file number, bank account and pension! It takes a few minutes to fill out the form, and you will need your passport handy. They then call you - it says it can take up to 21 days or something like that. But I got a call back the next day. In the April, 2013 issue of the Australia and New Zealand Magazine, one of our clients was featured in the magazine's regular Real Life section, in which fresh migrants to Australia give their opinion on their move to Australia and their new lives Down Under: We were living in Ferndown, Dorset when we decided to make the move. We enlisted the help of Sue Tempany from Visa Bureau – she was excellent! We wanted to get our visa application in before the new system came in place, and because of this we were limited on time. Sue was brilliant as she made sure no details were missed and would let us know when things had to be done. Her assistance was priceless, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone do it on their own! I would like to give a massive thank you to Leonie Cotton who guided us though the many hoops that we've had to jump through. In my opinion, (and with the benefit of hindsight) her advice has been accurate, timely and constructive and I would thoroughly recommend Leonie and Visa Bureau to anyone considering using an Agent. She has always been a phone call away and has promptly returned calls when not immediately available, even to answer my stupid questions. As with any professional service, there are fees to pay but I consider these small in the knowledge that we couldn't have done it on our own after a hard day at work, considering the level of service provided. Firstly, I would say that Visa Bureau were outstanding in their professionalism and business ethic, by the way in which they handled my application from start to finish. From the time that I picked up the phone to inquire until the time that I received my passport in the post with my new Australian permanent residency visa in it, I have to say that I was extremely impressed with the personal service, efficiency, determination and commitment that Visa Bureau provided to me. Visa Bureau were, as I mentioned, available at my beck and call. They made me feel so confident and reassured about everything, and they kept me posted on a weekly basis, even if they had no updates. Leonie, Matt, Lucas and the team were exceptional in the way in which they managed my application and I just cannot thank them or praise them enough for making mine and my family's dreams of Australia a reality! I had someone stop me in the street and ask if we were going to Australia as they are thinking about it, so I gave them the Visa Bureau's e-mail address and said how fantastic you are. Hi Brigid, Just a quick line or two to give you our good news. Our passports & visa's were returned today, so all our original plans can go ahead and we can activate the visa's at the end of this month. We are thrilled to receive them back so early and it means we can go full steam with all of our other plans. These are very exciting times for us and again we send thanks for helping our dream come true. Well Brigid, this feels like goodbye. I really do feel quite sad. You have already advised and helped us beyond the call of duty which we really appreciate. You never know, if Alex our son decides to try and move over with us at a later date, our paths may cross again. We would certainly go through Visa Bureau. I found the Visa Bureau very helpful and efficient with their service. The information provided to me was prompt and accurate and they helped me through the entire process of applying for a spouse visa.
I wouldn't have known where to start but the consultant (Kathryn Bruinsma) was very helpful and guided me through every step of the way.
I was concerned at first that because myself and my fiancée were living apart the visa process would be very intense and daunting but Kathryn put my mind at ease and dealt with everything as it came in, and as a result just over a month after all the information was sent to yourselves, I have my Visa.
