British Embassy in Saudi can now issue emergency travel documents
The British Embassy in Saudi Arabia can now issue emergency travel documents to UK citizens to make a journey if they have lost or misplaced their passport..
Emergency travel documents can be issued by the British Embassy in Jeddah for British citizens who have lost their passport and need to return to the UK.
Emergency travel documents are only valid for a specific journey within a short period of time.
"These new documents mean that British citizens who need to return to the UK will always be able to do so even if their passports have been damaged or have gone missing," Nick Heath, a spokesman for the British Embassy said.
The British Embassy is able to help with passports, travel advice for British citizens and advice for living in Saudi Arabia, as well as assistance when British nationals experience difficulties overseas however there are fees for some services.
The UK Visa Bureau is an independent consulting company specialising in helping people with their UK Visa applications to the British Embassy.
