Lote Tuqiri's will be playing rugby union for Leicester, just as soon as he gets his UK work permit.
Tuqiri was seen yesterday in Canberra, where he was seen visiting the British High Commission it is understood as part of his application for a UK Work Permit.
It is believed he will begin training with his new colleagues soon.
Tuqiri is only expected to play a short stint with Leicester before returning to the NRL for the start of the season with the Wests Tigers.
Tuqiri made a name for himself as a league player with the Brisbane Broncos, and he also scored the Wallabies' try in the 2003 World Cup Final loss to England.
