UK Visa application centres in Cairo and Alexandra close due to security issues

The closures of the application centres in Cairo and Alexandra are to ensure the safety of customers and staff.
As some UK Visa applications submitted in Sudan and Yemen are processed in Cairo the situation has also impacted the visa services in those countries.
The UK Border Agency advise those applying in these countries to check the UK Embassy websites for alternative application arrangements and regular updates.
