Creative and Sporting Category

The Tier 5 Creative and Sporting category is for people who want to come to the UK in order to work in professional sport or to work as creative artists or entertainers.

Sportspeople can stay and work in the UK for up to 12 months.
Artists and entertainers can stay and work in the UK for up to 24 months.

Elite-level athletes and coaches who plan to be based in the UK for an extended period should apply under the Tier 2 Sports People category.
