UK workers flocking to New Zealand immigration
Record numbers of skilled workers in the UK are queuing up to take advantage of New Zealand immigration, according to a New Zealand Business. Working In, a company that places overseas workers, has upgraded its recruitment drives in London and Leeds in order to cope with the massive interest in moving to New Zealand for work.
Working In founder and director Hayley Roberts said: "Last year we had difficulty coping with more than 5,000 people per day so we've upgraded our London venue to handle 10,000 visitors." She added that the company has also seen website traffic grow "exponentially" to almost 90,000 visitors per month. People in the UK who are considering New Zealand immigration will need to meet the New Zealand Skilled Migration basic requirements and can take New Zealand online visa assessments.
The news comes as a further boost to New Zealand immigration following the decision of a London and Sydney-based legal recruitment firm to open an office in Wellington.
New Zealand needs skilled migrants: Anyone applying for a New Zealand visa should begin by taking the New Zealand Visa Bureau's online New Zealand visa assessment to see if they meet the basic legislative requirements.
