Skilled migration to NZ criteria maintained
The Immigration Department announced the additional criteria for selecting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from the Skilled Migrant Category Pool will remain the same as the last six months.
The Minister for Immigration sets the criteria every six months, and decided the criteria will remain the same as the previous six months. The criteria is used to select applicants in the Skilled Migrant Category Pool who scored between 100 and 140 points and who have a job or job offer in New Zealand.
The EOIs are chosen on the basis of additional criteria, such as EOIs that include 10-15 points for work experience in an area of skills shortage and EOIs that include 10 points for a qualification in an area of skills shortage.
