Recruiters chasing skilled professionals for New Zealand immigration

Whether skilled Britons are over thirty and looking for a new career challenge or younger and wanting to get contract work and travel, job recruitment agents in New Zealand are actively pursuing skilled workers to explore their employment options and consider applying for a New Zealand visa.

Whether skilled Britons are over thirty and looking for a new career challenge or younger and wanting to get contract work and travel, job recruitment agents in New Zealand are actively pursuing skilled workers to explore their employment options and consider applying for a New Zealand visa.

Recruitment agency Robert Walters says that New Zealand immigration is more and more "on the radar for people seeking an opportunity for career advancement or who want to move to a safer country with a certain lifestyle".

Managing director Richard Manthel told the New Zealand Herlad that the New Zealand Department of Immigration is aware of the skill shortages and is taking a commercial fast-track approach to issuing New Zealand visas.

"Immigration has always been blamed as a bit of a roadblock. But it would be fair to say nowadays Immigration is fantastic and very rarely do we have issues getting visas for these candidates," he said.

Manthel also mentioned the importance of helping new immigrants to settle in with "support networks around them" so they can "integrate with the community".

New Zealand needs skilled workers: anyone interested in New Zealand immigration should complete the New Zealand Visa Bureau's online New Zealand visa assessment to see if they qualify for a New Zealand visa.
