NZ immigration and settlement DVD released
New Zealand is a major competitor in the global market for skilled migration. According to PRLog, last year over 300,000 people applied to move to New Zealand as part of the immigration programme.
In order to ease the process of immigration and settlement for migrants to New Zealand, an immigrant couple has released a DVD providing all the information needed to help people move to New Zealand.
Go New Zealand: the New Zealand Immigration and Settlement DVD is a two-hour visual aid comprising two discs that focuses on New Zealand visa information, healthcare, employment, housing, education, cost of living and on-the-ground resources.
The DVD features interviews with experts who advise about taxes, houses, education and employment, and interviews with immigrants who share their experiences of moving to New Zealand, such as bringing pets or moving a family.
The producers of the DVD, Melanie Petuchovas and Brian Radke who emigrated from America, said they produced the DVD to encourage more people to emigrate to New Zealand and share their love of the country.
"We’ve had such a positive experience moving to New Zealand that we really wanted to share what this amazing country has to offer with people. And to show them that it’s not as hard to get here as they might think," they said in a statement.
"Having gone through the immigration and settlement process ourselves we understand how daunting it can seem at first. There’s so much research and paperwork involved, it can be overwhelming."
Prospective migrants from the UK, Canada, the European Union, and the United States can order the DVD online for specific prices, while all other countries are charged the same tariff for the DVD.
