Canada’s Skilled Worker Program is the most popular option for Canadian immigration and allows successful applicants to emigrate to Canada to live and work as permanent residents. The Skilled Worker Program is the main route for skilled immigration into Canada.
If you are interested in emigrating to Canada, your first step should be to see if you qualify by completing an online assessment.
To emigrate to Canada through the Skilled Worker Program, applicants must meet the Basic Requirements and pass the Canadian immigration Points Test to qualify. A current pass mark is 67 points.
Additionally, if you have an occupation listed on the Priority Occupation List, you will be eligible for skilled migration to Canada without the requirement of having a job offer from a Canadian employer and will have the potential to arrive within months of beginning the application process.
Skilled workers must have education, work experience, knowledge of English and/or French and other abilities that will help them to adapt successfully as permanent residents in Canada.
