Victoria State Sponsorship Closure

The Victorian Government has announced temporary closure of their state sponsorship programme.

The Victorian State Government have announced temporary closure of their state sponsorship programme. As a result applicants will be unable to apply for Victorian state sponsorship at this time.

All applications received prior to 15 May 2018 will continue to be processed; however delays may occur in providing outcomes for these applications.

The Victorian State Government have announced this closure as result of a high volume of applications received. Whilst this is a temporary measure have not stated when they will re-open applications.

As the points threshold for skilled migration remains inflated, an increasing number of applicants are seeking state sponsorship. Consequently it's becoming more difficult to secure state sponsorship and processing times are increasing.
