Timely processing for Australian Working Holiday visas
The Working Holiday Global Processing Centre, the Australian Government centre which processes all Australian Working Holiday Visa applications, has released information that shows it is meeting government service standards.
The Working Holiday Global Processing Centre commences the initial processing within three days. Applicants are still advised that if you have lodged your Australian Working Holiday Visa application from outside Australia you must not make arrangements to travel to Australia until you are advised that your visa has been granted.
The government service standard for the first Australian Working Holiday Visa is six days with 21 days for the second working holiday visa, provided that additional information such as medical requirement is not needed.
The Australian Working Holiday Visa is available for young people between the ages of 18 and 30 who wish to travel around Australia.
The Australian Working Holiday Visa enables the holder to work to supplement their travels, and it can be extended from 12 months to 24 months provided the holder has worked as a specified worker in regional Australia for three months.
The Australian Visa Bureau is an independent consulting company specialising in helping people with their Australian Working Holiday Visa.
