Queensland aviation industry expansion may open door for skilled workers' Australian immigration

People in the aviation industry who are considering Australian immigration will be encouraged to hear that the sector in Queensland has a skilled workforce of 6,000 and is looking for more. The Queensland government is attempting to promote and grow the industry in order to be prepared should the current mining boom die down.

Desley Boyle, Queensland regional development and industry minister, told The Australian: "We all know that aviation is just exploding around the world. It's a great, stable, high-end, high-paying industry with lots of really good jobs for our people. It truly is a major plank in the economy of the future for Queensland." People looking to profit from the boom in the aviation industry in Queensland can move to Australia on a number of different visas, including the Australian sponsored visa and the Australian spouse and family visas.

Elsewhere in Australia, it was recently announced that half of businesses in Sydney are now looking to Australian immigration in order to find staff.

Australia needs skilled workers: Anyone applying for an Australian visa should begin by completing the Australian Visa Bureau's online Australian visa application to see if they meet the Australian visa requirements.
