Cheryl Cole seeks US visa following 'X Factor' departure

Amidst a dispute following her leaving the American version of 'The X Factor', Cheryl Cole is alleged to be now seeking a US visa to return to the United States in order to fulfill her contract with the show.

While Cole had enjoyed previous success as a presenter of the UK's version of the telelvised talent competition, reports are saying that her unexplained departure from the American version of the programme has resulted in an ongoing dispute with the show's producers, Fremantle, about her contact.

The reasons for Cheryl Cole leaving the American version of 'The X-Factor' after just four days have yet to be disclosed, though several sources are claiming that she would be paid regardless of whether or not she appeared on the show, though she has yet to be paid. The sources also said that Cole would be seeking extra money for performances on the British version.

However, it is now being said that in order to avoid breaching her contract, Cole will need to apply for a US Visa in order to travel to American and be present for at least some of the show's tapings.
